I crave cold so much!!! The weather in Greece is so hot lately that one might think it is still summer and not mid-fall. I dream of waking up, feeling the crisp air, wearing my sweater, and cuddling on my sofa with a hot cup of cocoa, and a good book while it is raining outside. I am ready for fall even winter, I have already bought a few new sweaters and a nice sheer plastic umbrella that folds that I carry around in my bag. However, the reality is, that as I am writing these lines I am wearing a tank top and summer wedges.
Last night, while I was browsing through my favorite blogs and Asos, it struck me as odd that the rest of the world is getting ready for the Christmas Holidays. In Lauren Conrad yesterday there was a post about her New Holiday Collection and made me think of possible Christmas outfits. What should I wear in my Christmas family lunch or New Year’s Eve… Then, I saw these cute Asos sweaters and I daydreamed of wearing them at my family home with my loved ones, opening gifts, and enjoying my mother’s treats.
So even though the weather is unseasonably hot and I still only wear my summer wardrobe I can’t help but make lists and mentally get in the Holiday Spirit, hoping that tomorrow I will wake up and instead of my tank top I will reach for my favorite sweater.
